Rooni Mathew is a Senior Water Resources Professional in GEI’s New York City office. He is a subject matter expert in the numerical modeling of hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and contaminant fate and transport for problems of climate change resiliency, sediment management, flood defense, infrastructure development, and contaminated sediments. He has developed and applied 1-, 2-, and 3-dimensional models in coastal, estuarine, lacustrine, and riverine settings. He has extensive experience in the consulting industry, performing multidisciplinary and technically challenging projects for planning-level assessments and to support engineering design. He is experienced with various aspects of the project life-cycle—concept development, field sampling, feasibility studies, and engineering design. He regularly presents technical information for technical and non-technical stakeholders via reports, publications, and presentations.
