WEST PALM BEACH, Florida, Sept. 2, 2025 – Eric B. Rehwoldt, P.E., P.G., has joined GEI Consultants as a Vice President and Senior Consultant. Eric brings more than 36 years of diverse geo-engineering experience serving private and public sector clients in the U.S. and internationally. Eric will lead the opening of GEI’s first office in the state of Florida, located in West Palm Beach.

“Eric brings more than three decades of experience across the United States and 50 countries worldwide,” says Scott Keating, Senior Vice President and South Region Operations Manager at GEI. “He is adept at applying geological and geotechnical engineering expertise to deliver value-added and cost-effective solutions to help facilitate successful project completion for clients.”
Eric brings a wealth of geotechnical and geo-structural engineering, geo-environmental engineering, construction administration, construction inspection, and automated geotechnical and structure monitoring experience to GEI. Eric has applied his expertise on numerous urban commercial developments, transportation and coastal infrastructure improvement projects, and government complexes.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno (The MacKay School of Mines). He is a licensed Professional Engineer in 14 U.S. states and a registered Professional Geologist.
